Welcome to our website! I am excited about my campaign for the First District Court of Appeals and I look forward to earning your support in the months ahead.
As a Judge on the Court of Common Pleas Court, I have presided over thousands of cases, both criminal and civil. By scheduling cases for trial in a prompt manner, ruling expeditiously on motions, limiting continuances, and working to encourage settlement, I have dramatically reduced the backlog of cases I inherited when I took office. Several of the opinions that I have authored have been selected for publication by the Ohio Supreme Court. Most importantly in my courtroom, we strive to provide a level of justice that is fair and consistent, and we have worked to insure litigants are treated with respect.
I’m looking forward to a spirited campaign, and over the coming months I welcome the opportunity to demonstrate to the voters why I believe that my experience, temperament and judicial philosophy make me the best qualified candidate to serve in this important office.
